What is a State Inspection?

A state inspection is an annual safety and emissions check required by Massachusetts to ensure your vehicle is safe to drive and meets environmental standards. Our certified technicians inspect key components such as brakes, tires, lights, suspension, steering, and emissions systems.

It’s important to note that a state inspection is not the same as vehicle registration, they are separate processes. Registration is handled through the RMV, while your inspection must be done at a licensed inspection station like ours. Once your vehicle passes, we’ll apply a new inspection sticker to your windshield, valid for one year from the month of inspection.
