Failed Inspection? What’s Next
If your vehicle does not pass the state inspection, don’t worry—our team is here to help guide you through the next steps.
You will receive a Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) that outlines exactly what needs to be corrected. This may include safety-related issues, emissions system faults, or visible defects like worn tires or malfunctioning lights.
You have 60 days from the date of the failed inspection to complete the necessary repairs and return for a free re-inspection at the same location.
Our shop offers both mechanical and body repair services, so in many cases, we can handle the necessary work on-site and help get you back on the road quickly and safely. If repairs are made elsewhere, just bring your VIR when you return.
If you’re not sure what the failure means or how to fix it, just ask—we’re happy to walk you through it.
