Entry-Level Technician
Entry-level technicians perform essential support tasks. In mechanical, this includes oil changes, tire service, and inspections. In the body shop, they assist with vehicle disassembly, sanding, masking, and repair preparation—all while learning safety and shop procedures. Minimum billed hours: 2,784 (mechanical) / 5,569 (body shop)
Junior Technician
Junior techs complete standard repairs with accuracy and growing speed. Mechanical techs handle brakes, suspension, and drivability services. Body techs manage panel repairs, blueprinting, body filler work, and reassembly with a focus on OEM procedures. Minimum billed hours: 6,682 (mechanical) / 10,302 (body shop)
Senior Technician
Senior techs lead more complex repairs and maintain high standards in the shop. Mechanical techs perform diagnostics, electrical repairs, and in-depth system work. Body techs handle structural repairs, frame work, and ensure vehicles are restored to pre-accident condition. Minimum billed hours: 11,415 (mechanical) / 15,035 (body shop)
Master Technician
Master Technicians are shop leaders and experts. In mechanical, they diagnose high-level issues, manage hybrid/EV systems, and perform programming. In the body shop, they oversee structural restoration, precision refinishing, and final quality control. Minimum billed hours: 16,984 (mechanical) / 19,768 (body shop)
